End of Summer, Beginning of Fun Concert

Return to the Rainbow Bistro - Live Show Thursday Aug 29  8-10pm

The summer sun is fading fast and the Rainbow Bistro is closing out the summer in style with hot Celtic-Country-Rock music. Meet your friends at Ottawa’s favourite watering hole and help keep the summer hot with the foot-stompin’ Celtic-Country-Rock sounds of the Bob Haughian Band on Thursday, August 29th at the Rainbow Bistro - Ottawa's Legendary Home of The Blues.

The Bob Haughian Band introduces a revised line-up featuring a versatile group of Ottawa Valley musicians with varied roots in folk, rock, jazz, classical and world music. They paint exciting musical canvasses with fiddle, accordion, percussion, keyboard, harmonica and, of course some rocking, country-celtic guitars. The band includes Doug Slone (keyboards, accordion, fiddle and exalted waterphone), Ardi Balca (bass and buffalo drum), Greg Patten (guitars and banjo), Robert Libbey (guitar, harmonica and bodran), the sultry vocals of Emily Bellman and Darrell Medaglia (drums).
